Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We started out Thanksgiving Day at Nene & Papa's house. We ate a ton & then got in the car & headed to Columbia to see Shauna, Josh, & the kids.

Chad & Kristy came to eat lunch with us!

We got to Columbia late Thursday night. I got a few hours of sleep (about 3!!!) Sue, Shauna, & I left the house around 3:45 Friday morning. I got most of my shopping done while we were gone. The kids played football & ran around the entire house!

Nano bought the kids Christmas PJ's so they could take a picture for her Christmas card.

We took the kids to Bass Pro to see Santa, but we got there a little late, and he was gone.

So, Saturday morning we left Columbia and drove to Kansas City. The Tigers played Kansas (and WON!!!) at Arrowhead Stadium.

After the game, we stayed at the Holiday Inn across from the stadium. It was a smaller version of Great Wolf Lodge. The kids swam all night! We sat at the bar in the pool area and watched the OSU game. WOW!!! What a game!!!
We had a great weekend with the family! Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Program

Major's Thanksgiving program was last Tuesday. He opened the play with, "Welcome to our program!" He was a pilgrim boy and said "Bang, Bang!" and they sang some cute songs.

I'm so thankful for...

My sweet boy! He decided that he wanted to make Mrs. DeWitt a picture that says, "Thank you for being our teacher." I wrote it out for him, and then he copied it onto his picture. I hope he always stays this sweet!

BIEBER FEVER!!!

We've got BIEBER FEVER!!! That little guy is pretty talented! Trey had to work, so Nene had to go along for the concert. We met Jenny & the girls to eat before the big show. Just being at the concert brought me back to 20 years ago when we went to the New Kids concert! The screaming!!!! Girls just love Justin Bieber! Major sang along- as long as I wasn't watching him. He gets so embarrassed! I tried to video a couple of times, but everytime he saw me, he would stop singing! So, no video post...just enjoy the pics!

Book Character Day!

Pre-K has book character dress-up day instead of the kids dressing in their Halloween costumes. Maj was Scooby-Doo! He is a tiny bit obsessed with Scooby-Doo at the moment. The kids have a parade through the other classrooms & they hold their books up. Nene was there doing tattoos for the class that week. Here are a few shots I got of Maj & some of his buddies!

And, Major DEFINITELY got something good to eat! And PLENTY of it! Major was such a trooper on Saturday! First of all, me & Nene made him go to the mall with us. The poor kid had one pair of jeans so we had to go try on every style they make! (By the way, Major is the only one of us 3 that can actually wear SKINNY JEANS! They are soooo cute on him!)

So, back to Trick-or-Treating....... After much thought, Maj decided to be a skeleton. Mostly, he wanted to paint his face. He thought about a mummy, but in the end, went with the skeleton. The neighborhood got together again this year and took a trailer. Justin vlounteered to drive his truck so all the Dads could be nice & warm & comfortable & not have to do too much! The moms rode in the trailer and watched the kiddos! Oh, we really didn't care! After we had too much candy, we went to hang out at Chad & Kristy's. Carsen spent the night & both the boys were fast asleep within minutes of their heads hitting the pillow! Hope everyone had a great Halloween! BRING ON CHRISTMAS!
