Boo to you!

Halloween came and went so fast this year!  I didn't even get decorations put out, and the month seemed to fly by!  We did, however, have a Happy Halloween!

This is the 2nd year that we have been able to dress up at school.  I was a hot fudge sundae (with a cherry on top!  And, NOT an acorn, as some thought I was...)  This year, 1st grade did something a little different- they had the kids dress up as what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Major had his occupation in mind as soon as he heard- CLAY MATTHEWS.  Hey, the kids got some dreams!  We had to order the jersey and that is another LONG story in itself...long story short, I have ordered 2 of them, had to pay rush 2-day shipping on one of them, and still haven't received one of them!  LOL!  

Anyways, we had a great day full of parties, goodies, great friends, our annual trailer ride, and way too much candy!

OU/ND

Sue & I got tickets to the OU/ND game!  We aren't fans of either, but it was a big game, & we both love football, so why not?!?

SOLD!

We bought a lot!  

So here's the deal...I LOVE my neighborhood!  I know all my neighbors, there are a ton of kids for Major to play with, and I still love my house.  BUT, I have always wanted this lot in my mom & dad's neighborhood.  Trey & I kicked around the idea of wanting to build again (I want a smaller house & Trey wants a bigger shop!) and before I knew it, we had bought the lot I have always wanted.  So we will be 3 houses down from Nene & Poops.  Our friends, The Lingle's, bought the lot next door to us, and Matt & Jana bought the lot across the street from us!  All of this happened so quickly, but I am so excited.  Oh, and our new hood is right across the street from where we  live now, so all of our friends & Major's buddies will be a short golf cart drive away!

It may be 20 years before we sell our house, but we do have the lot bought for the next Sharp house!

I'm still full!

We got our Fair on last night!  My kid loves the fair...he loves the games that are impossible to win, he loves the stuffed animals that probably cost 50 cents to make, but we spend $15 trying to win it, and he loves the fun houses & rides.  I love the arm band you can buy & he can do each one as many times as he would like!  Until next year........

Sand Fest

Sand Fest was this last weekend!  And guess who was making an appearance?!?  Holy Cow it was CAREY HART!  So, I've met him twice this year!  Kari & I were so mad that we didn't get a group pic with him.  UGH!  We did get to talk to him.  Long story, short version:  Chris & Carey were buds back in the day when Carey was just starting out, and they haven't seen eachother in years.  So, they talked for a bit (Hart said he remembered meeting us at XGames...yea right!)  On Saturday evening, we got to watch Hart & Jeff Emig do a few jumps out on the dunes.  Pretty cool stuff!

Football has begun!

We had our 1st football game last Saturday.  We moved up to 8U this year, and did not start out all that great...We got beat :(  It's still a good time & Major loves him some football so that's all that matters!

Homecoming Week 2012

Tuttle's Homecoming was last week!  We celebrated with dress up days Tuesday-Friday (We were out for Labor Day on Monday so we had a short week!)

 The Homecoming Parade was on Friday.  I love seeing all the floats and old students that I haven't seen in a long time.  The whole school gets out to watch the parade & most of the streets are full.  Just another thing I love about Tuttle!

1st Grade!

Summer flew by, and now I have a 1st grader!  Major got Mrs. Jones this year for his teacher!  She is awesome & I love her!  Trey actually had her in 1st grade too!  She was so excited to get the next generation!  (her words, not mine!)  Dad, and the 2 sets of G-Parents took Maj to "Meet Your Teacher" because I had to meet all of my new kiddos in my room.
