A little bit of Summer!!!

We finally got to take the trailer to the lake! We bought it back in February, but didn't get to take it anywhere until June! We have just had a lot of things going on...baseball, weddings, showers, etc... We spent 2 weekends at Ft. Cobb and had a blast! We have a place at Texhoma, but just never make it there. Ft. Cobb is only an hour away from us and a lot of our friends go there. It's pretty fun when a whole Tuttle crew can take up an entire area in the campground & the kids run wild!

The Rackley's came down for the day. Maj & Kason tried to catch something (I think this lasted for a good 30 seconds!

I found these of Maj on my camera. When Trey & I went to California, the one thing he wanted us to bring him was a Yankees shirt. We had specific instructions to "tell the lady that you buy it from that you want Babe RuF (because he still has problems with the TH sound) to sign it!"

I know I never even mention that we have a cat, but this is her. After trying a small maltese & then a HUGE mastiff, we went for a cat this time. Mom just can't handle the dog hair & the peeing so we no longer have those 2 dogs. We got the cat a few months ago at the pound and she has been a great cat! She stays in the garage but is very friendly and likes Major. Her name was Piper, but nowadays she is referred to as Little Gert, Sissy Brithces, Britches, or just Sissy. Now, back to the dog situation... Trey did buy a lab yesterday. We aren't going to get it until we are done with all of our vacations, and are able to actually be here with it. I am a little more excited about this dog because he shouldn't be as high maintenance as the other two. Hey, third times the charm, I guess! :)

I just wanted to get a blog in before I leave for a few days. We had our last t-ball game tonight. Kristy & I are leaving in the morning to take the kids to Galveston for a few days. Trey is staying home & says he has a list of projects around the house that he is going to get done! Hope everyone has a good week!

Father's Day 2010

We met at Cracker Barrel this morning to celebrate Father's Day! I like to go there because it is the one place that I know Major will actually eat something! He can eat junk all day long, but when it comes to actually eating something that isn't candy, chocolate, pie, cake, or cookies- then we have a problem! PANCAKES are the one thing that he can chow down!

Memaw cooked dinner tonight for Father's Day, but we didn't stay very long because we had to get back to Tuttle for Chandler's 5th birthday party! The kids swam & played in Chan's new tree house.

Hello MOHAWK!

I had to take a picture of my little man today. We had to run a few errands today, and he decided that he can fix his own hair! Now usually by this time, he has his head shaved & we don't have to worry about fixing his hair, but we just haven't got around to getting the clippers out yet.

Flip's is FINALLY open!!! They had a small fire & we have been waiting for it to open! We love eating on the patio at Flip's in the summer. It was a little windy that night (as you can tell from all of our hair in the pics!) I wish there were more opportunities for all of us to get together, but we all live in different places, and all have kids, and there is just so much going on with all of us. Maybe next time Teresa & Heather can come!

Boys & their Toys!

My 2 boys got new toys! Trey had been wanting a new 4-wheeler ( he sold his in 15 min. on Craig's List), and we have been wanting to get Maj one for a while now. The biggest decision was color! But in the end, he wanted to be just like Dad! Thank goodness we live in a neighborhood that he can ride whenever he wants. I am being very positive that there will be no wrecks or crashes into the house! :) Enjoy the pics!

Country Living!!!!!!!!

It finally happened............I had a snake at the house. It is amazing that we haven't had a lot of experience with them considering we have woods & a creek behind our house. And, I'm sure there have been others, but I just happened to be here when this little guy decided to come into our garage. Trey is out of town, so me, Kristy, & Christel tried to get this little sucker out by ourselves. We would have won the jackpot on "America's Funniest Home Videos." Kristy was on top of the car throwing shoes at it, and Christel was trying to push it with a broom! We were screaming like little girls! We ended up calling Danny & he came to our rescue. He knew something was wrong because he could hear us screaming & then laughing at his house. So, hopefully this is the last time I have to see one of these! But, it was an eventful night! Did I mention I love the country!?!
