Valentine Weekend Recap!

It's hard to believe that the last day of February is Monday, but I am just getting around to my blogging! So, Valentine's Day was a few weekends ago, BUT, better late than never...

Friday night, we went to the movie to see "Just Go With It." Cute movie...I'll see anything with Adam Sandler in it. Saturday night, we went to Deep Fork with the Neasbit's & Meyers's.

They boys had quite a good time at dinner...
After dinner, we went to Chad & Kristy's. We did our usual- hang out in the barn with our comfy sweats on!
Then the boys had a great idea that we should all play poker! Us girls weren't too good, but we still had a lot of fun!

On Monday, Valentine's Day, Maj had his party at school. We made a football Valentine box & took Scooby Doo cards.


Trey was out of town, so after school, me & my little dude celebrated Valentine's Day at Gigi's Cupcakes. Talk about YUMMY!!!

Super Bowl Weekend!

We spent Super Bowl Weekend in Vegas! WOW!!! What a fun weekend (I'm planning on making the trip again next year as long as it's ok with the hubby!)

We spent Saturday afternoon at Casa Fuente- our favorite place in Vegas.

Saturday night we had dinner at the Striphouse at PH.
We met Roger Clemens while at dinner!
Remember Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds? He had dinner with us Saturday night! He is one funny man!
On "Super Bowl Sunday," we went to a party at PH. There was tons of food and chocolate covered strawberries for me to munch on during the game!
Oh, Vegas, I already miss you! Until next time...

Snow Days!

Well, we have been out of school way too many days! So far, we have 6 days to make up! I'm hoping we are done with the snow & I can start to look forward to patio time and warmer weather! So this is what my boys did...played video games (we got a 3D TV so "Black Ops" is a must at our house right now!)

They tried to make it outside, but it was just so stinkin' cold! They went down the street for just a bit, but were back home & inside to get warm.


I watched a ton of movies, ate way too much food, and slept in!

A little fun before the cold!

Major & Carsen got in some play time outside today. Tomorrow is supposed to be freezing so they took advantage of today's weather. It was still a little chilly- they both had snotty noses & red cheeks!

All you need is a go-cart, skateboard, and some rope...hours of fun!

I'm not looking forward to the morning! I'm ready for summer!!! I am anxiously awaiting patio time! :)

Rodeo...

We made it out to the rodeo again this year. Major really likes going, and thanks to Allan, we have great seats!

The end of 2010...

The last week of 2010 was a good one! I turned the big 33, had a girls night, and then rang in the New Year! I always look forward to a new year...what resolution will I make (and will I keep it?!?) So, for one, after the big weight gain I had this year, I went back to Weight Watchers this evening. I haven't been in a few years, and feel this is the best way to go. I did the "go to the fat doctor & take pills" diet after I had Major. I lost a ton of weight, but as soon as you stop, you gain back what you lost and more!

So, enough with the fat talk... I am so looking forward to 2011! I am ready for Major's 3rd year of t-ball, taking a few vacations, the end of school & then starting again, watching my little boy turn into a little man, and spending as much time with Trey. Oh, how I love those two!

Here's a little recap of the last week of 2010...

I turned 33 on the 29th. We decided last minute to go see "The Fockers." Then had a quick dinner at Chili's before the OSU game.
Thursday night dinner at Belle Isle. Kay was in town!
NYE @ The Ranch
Then, back to Chad & Kristy's house!
We decided to have kids for NYE this year! I think this was the 1st year we have been with Major on NYE. Kristy sat up tv's in the garage for the kids to play Wii & Playstation on. So, we didn't see the kiddos very much. They danced (there was a disco ball), and played games, and ate junk food all night!
