Cali 2012

I made it back to one of my favorite places...California!  Trey does not share the love for Cali that I do, but he lets me tag along every year!  Trey flew out on Sunday and Major & I met him out there on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, we drove to Newport Beach for the day.  The water was freezing, but the weather was awesome!  We rented an umbrella & a body board, and made a day of it!  We ended the day with a gorgeous drive down to Laguna for some sushi.

On Thursday, we decided to drive to LA.  The plan was to head back to Ontario by 3:00 so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic; but, there is just too much to see!  And the hubby said he didn't drive all that way to NOT get a Sprinkles.  So, we drove over to Beverly Hills, got a cupcake, and some Sprinkles ice cream (think red velvet cupcake chunks with ice cream!), and received a nice $58 parking ticket for being about 2 minutes late back to the car!

On Friday, we drove back to LA for the XGames!  We all 3 loved the XGames!  There was so much stuff for Major to do, so many booths to look at, and so many people to see!  We went to the Motocross event on Friday night...it was just cool stuff!  That's all I can say!

On Saturday, we just hung around Ontario.  We went shopping, caught a movie, and had dinner.

We came home on Sunday, and Major has had that board in his hand ever since.

Disney!

After about 10 years of waiting, we finally went on our Disney vacation with the Houts' Fam!  Before any of us even had kids, we have always said that we wanted to go in 2012 (figuring we would have kiddos at the just-right age!)  We decided on the Disney Cruise & 1 day at a park.  There were also 5 other families from Tuttle on our cruise so it was a lot of fun!

Our last day of school was last Friday, and we were on the 4:00 flight to Orlando!

 We got up early Saturday morning to head to Hollywood Studios!

Sunday morning, we boarded the Disney Dream!

 This is the kid's club on the ship.  Major loved this place!  (And as you can see, so did the dads!)

All of the kids have wrist bands, with GPS on them, so there was never a worry about dropping Major off at the kid's club.
